Our approach is rooted in:

– Trusted adult relationships
– Creating safe, non-judgemental spaces

Next Move creates safe spaces, strong relationships and real opportunities for young people to feel they belong and thrive.

TESTIMONALS

“It helped me realise I can speak to people without being worried about being judged. I’ve found my people here and it’s really improved my mental wellbeing.”

Next Move has helped them overcome social anxiety and build confidence. Before attending, they felt nervous about speaking to others and worried about being judged. They described how the programme helped them “find their people” and feel part of a community where they are accepted. Leadership opportunities, in particular, supported them to realise they can speak up and express their ideas without fear.

“I used to bottle everything up, but now I can speak about things and stand up for myself. It’s helped my confidence a lot even at college and my mental health is better than it used to be.”

We rely on donations to keep Next Move running every contribution helps us create safe spaces, trusted relationships and brighter futures for young people.
