Positively Empowered Kids Festival 2022!

September 25 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

£10.00 – £50.00

We are excited to announce our 2nd Positively Empowered Kids Festival is back, bigger and better on Sunday the 25th of September at Nottingham Racecourse!

We have planned a fun day to educate, empower and inspire children in how to build positive mental health and unlock their potential. The festival is aimed at families with children aged 5-12, with plenty of inspiring free activities, interactive demonstrations and knowledge of how to flourish and thrive.

Recent statistics show that 1 in 6 children have a diagnosable mental health condition, and we have created this festival as an early intervention and prevention of this very real problem.

Whether you are worried about your child’s current anxiety levels, their lack of self-confidence or just want to help them develop further, our aim is for you to leave the festival bursting with ideas and equipped with tools and techniques that will start them on a path to create true success on their own terms.

Come and meet our inspiring experts, experience free activities and discover a wide range of brilliant resources to empower your child.

The day includes a selection of incredible young people in our community, headlined by Chloe Dring (The Voice Kids & Michael McIntyres unexpected star of the show).

As part of our festival, we are launching our yearly fundraising initiative, our SUPERHERO CAPE WALK! This will promote the importance of raising self-belief in children. Through our work, we often see young people with mental ill health having low self-esteem and this needs to be addressed. The cape walk will be a 1.5mile walk around the racetrack at 2pm led by the fabulous Mama G! (As seen on Britain’s Got Talent 2022)

Positively Empowered Kids CIC is a multi-award winning Nottingham social enterprise, established in 2019 by two Mums, Jackie & Claire. Having both experienced mental ill health as children, they are on a mission to grow a collaborative and supportive local culture that delivers early interventions to children and families that prevent mental ill-health from taking root.
